What to Expect in a Keola® Class

"Physical training is good, but training for godliness is much better, promising benefits in this life and in the life to come."

1 Timothy 4:8 NLT

Keola® is a trademarked exercise containing intellectual property that makes it what it is... you know, those things creatively blended in that help us spend time with the Lord, learn more about the Jesus, and grow in our faith. As a participant, you can expect to see these things in the classes you take. As an instructor, you are trained to confidently be able to weave them into your classes, while staying true to and having room for your personal creative flair.

That's right, you can bring this unique format to others! You don't have to be an expert in the Bible or wellness to do it. We cover all that! This training is completely online. Be licensed to teach in as little as four weeks.

How We Add Faith

NOTE: This is intellectual property. You must be licensed to add any blend of these elements into your exercise classes. They are what legally makes Keola® Keola® and are protected for the purpose of consistency and sharing.

Class opening in prayer for growth in the fruit of the Spirit (Gal 5:22-23) and Christ.

Choosing one fruit as a focus of the workout session to help you begin thinking about what is true, pure, lovely, and praiseworthy (Phil 4:8).

Transitional Son Series

A series that celebrates Jesus's victory over death through positions that share the story of His death on the cross (Cross position) to His resurrection and ascension to the right hand of the Father (Seated with Christ position). Check out the three different versions now: Standing, Floor-based, and Chair.

Scripture and Gospel truth incorporated into the movement.

We value the Word of God. It is Spirit, Life, Jesus Himself, and useful to everyday living. We share it liberally in light of the work of Jesus and our New Covenant through Him.

Position names that declare your identity in Christ.

The definition of position is "a place where someone or something is located or has been put" (Oxford Lexico). By accepting Jesus as Lord, you have been transferred from the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of Light (Col 1:13). These movements are affectionately referenced by names that powerfully proclaim your new identity and positioning in Christ. You are seen and affectionately known by this new nature and God wants you to step into them by the power of His Holy Spirit that He freely gives you (2 Cor 5:17, Eph 4:22-24). You are Loved, Forgiven, Free, Empowered, Protected, and so much more. What an exchange our Lord Jesus has made! Learn who you are now, one position at a time, even as you ground yourself in Whose you are as we move.

Keola® Position Flashcards Resource | 68 Movements Declaring Your Identity in Christ

His Child position resting moments added into the workout for "rest and praise" time with Father God.

Jesus has won intimacy back with the Father through forgiveness of all our sins. That relationship and perpetual Presence was the desire and distinguishing factor of His people in the Old Testament. Through Jesus, that gift has been made available to all people. If you believe the Gospel and Jesus is your Boss (Lord), this is yours! We take advantage of it in every class in hopes of training you to take advantage of His Presence in your life daily.

The Cross Position

A portion of each workout session spent in The Cross Position. Reflection here on grace, forgiveness, thanksgiving, or something relating to this incomparable sacrifice and how Jesus transforms lives and freely gives life, peace, and healing eternally. This is our why!

Personal time with the Lord for prayer.

Final relaxation on one of the Keola® positions with biblical meditation to think about the Word that you've heard in class or whatever is on your heart and talk to God about it. The Author of the Bible lives in you to guide you into all truth and share what's on God's heart with you. This is about learning to listen and obey. (John 16:13-15)

Class closing with "The Christ in me sees (or I see) the 'Christ in you, the hope of glory' (Col 1:27)" and prayer in the name of Jesus.

God sent His very Spirit to live in every believer in Jesus and help them walk in the new life He wants for them. We choose to see each other in light of how God sees us because of our faith (Col 1:22), as well as encourage and challenge each other to hold onto faith and step into everything God is calling us to. We want to see God's glory on this earth and that involves you! I really can't say it better than the apostle Paul inspired by the Holy Spirit did:

"We proclaim Him (Jesus), warning and instructing everyone in all wisdom [that is, with comprehensive insight into the word and purposes of God], so that we may present every person complete in Christ [mature, fully trained, and perfect in Him—the Anointed]." (Col 1:28 AMP, italics mine)
